Not all
sickness and disease are caused by sin but returning to sin can give spirits of
infirmity chance to come back into anybody.
· Whether we
like it, aware of it or not, sickness and disease will always want to come back
because devil doesn’t give up. If we still experience the past or different
symptom after we’ve been healed already, it’s not an indication that we were not
actually completely healed but that devil want us to accept it again by bring
it back on us. We only have to stand our ground and must exercise our
authority, refusing to receive back the spirit of infirmity.
· Someone
might help us with their faith to heal us but no one can help us to keep our
healing. We have to keep our healing by ourselves by faith.
· It doesn’t
matter how many time one requires healing, God’s power is always available and
it’s inexhaustible. You can never exhaust your chance.
· God is not
withholding healing from anyone. He’s done it over 2,000 years ago. If anyone
is not healed, it’s because he couldn’t exercise his faith to be healed or he
couldn’t find anyone to exercise faith to help him.
· There is nobody that you minister to that
Christ hasn’t healed already. It’s the devil that proves stubborn, therefore,
since you know this truth, you have to make devil quit and not him quitting
you.
· The fact
that there is no immediate physical proof of healing doesn’t mean the spirit of
infirmity is not cast out already. The spirit may be out and the symptom is
still visible. With time, standing in faith and not giving in to doubt,
everything will clear off.
· The command
is to heal ALL manner of sickness and disease, no exception, no priority, no
special “leading or unction”
· Every
believer already possesses the required authority to heal the sick.
· Every
believer can minister healing and deliverance effectively. It’s not about gift.
If Jesus says you should go heal the sick, then you have the gift. The fact is
that, have you received the GIFT – Holy Spirit? Then you’ve received the
abundance of grace so go and function in what you have. Some people may function
well than you do but it doesn’t mean they have power, grace or Holy Spirit more
than you do. There is room for improvement. The best person today doesn’t
necessarily remain the best forever. If you press on, you can become one of the
best too. God doesn’t set the limit, we do.
· Believers
are not asked to intercede for those who are sick. If the sick person is in
some distance away, the Spirit may move us to intercede at times. But if the
sick person is present, we’re to command the infirmity spirit to leave.
· Two things
that the bible says hinder people from walking in the power of God is unbelief
(lack of action on the word) and the traditions of man (un-renewed mind).
· Un-confessed sin can’t hinder anyone from being healed.
· The sick
person’s faith doesn’t hinder you from getting the job done. He only needs to
believe enough to come. Whether he believes or not, your faith is what is
required, because if he has faith to be healed then he doesn’t need to come to
you. Who had faith for Lazarus? Who had for the widow of Nain’s dead son?
· Jesus
didn’t ask God to heal anybody. He brought healing and deliverance through His
words and hands: we are commanded to do the same.
· Jesus
healed many people and never asked them to repent or believe first.
· Jesus never
tried to find the root cause of any sickness or the sin that opened the door
therefore believers shouldn’t busy themselves with that also.
· Ancestral sin or curses never hindered
Jesus from healing or delivering anyone therefore that shouldn’t be the excuse
of any believer from failing to heal or deliver anybody. They can’t hinder
believers too.
· We are not
to judge anyone even if we know that their sins caused the sickness.
· We’re to
lay hands and pray prayer of faith – authority. Not long prayer, not begging or
asking God to come and do it. That’s why we’re sent there – to heal the sick.
· A believer
should always have it settled in his mind that he’s above Satan himself.
· Healing may
take some time to manifest.
· God doesn’t
cause sickness to teach anybody any lesson.
· The power
of God is always on and always ready to flow through any believer who dares
step out to do the work of Christ.
· We’re to
minister without partiality. Everybody in the healing line is important.
· God doesn’t
postpone anybody’s healing. If He did it over 2,000 years then it’s too late
for God to postpone it.
· If anybody
isn’t healed in a healing line, the problem is with the believer ministering
healing; not the sick person.
· The only
requirement for anybody to be healed is to want to be healed.
· The only
requirement for anybody to minister healing is to believe, that is, go and lay
hands on the sick.
· We have
authority to cast out even the devil that people want to keep. If the sick want
to keep the demon, you can send it out but he can go out there and catch it
back later.
· The issue
isn’t with the sick person but it’s between you and the spirit of infirmity.
· Believers
are to initiate healing and deliverance and the power will flow.
· We don’t
need to wait for any “leading”. “To know the will of God, read the Bible. To be
led by the Spirit, do the Bible”. – Lester Sumrall.
· We can’t
increase healing anointing but we can grow in it by renew our mind about it
with God’s Word and get more matured in it by exercise.
· There is no
one who is so bad that Christ finished work can’t work for. If He died for sin,
then He’s healed the sick. If He dealt with sin then sickness is minor.
· Sin can’t
stop God power but sin can stop someone from benefiting from the power.
· “The main
hindrance to receiving healing is to believe that there are hindrances to
healing”. – John G. Lake.
· God’s
anointing abides; He doesn’t leave or become weak or reduce. If the anointing
in you reduces, check your mind!
· If you want
the anointing to work through you, go and do the bible. That’s how to
“activate” or to make the anointing work.
· When you
come under the Word you’re readily under the influence of the anointing.
· Your bible
is not your sword. Your sword is the word in the bible (God’s Word) that is in
your mouth that you speak.
· There is no
prayer you pray that is not answered or working immediately.
· There is no
demon you commanded to go out that won’t go out as long as you understand your
authority in Christ and use it. It may not go immediately but it will surely go
if you don’t allow the demon to quit you.
